One of the things I love about going to new places is watching the sun rise and set. I watched the sun rise on New Year's Day when I was in Japan last year and it was such an amazing experience that makes me just love nature and living life even more.
Needless to say, it was breathtaking. Sorry for the overload of pictures, I just couldn't decide which ones!!!

Walking Excursion!
So on a day off, me and one of my flatmates decided to go to Bondi Junction (a place with lots of shops that is just west of Bondi Beach). We ended up walking all the way back to our dorm (which is pretty far away). These are our nice discoveries.
But first ....
I love when one of my favorite stores is all over Sydney but closes down lots of stores in DFW :(
Not the most exciting picture of a section of Bondi Junction, but it was pretty cool.
I feel like this is a must for my blog. yay flags!
But first ....
yay! my mom sent me an Easter care package! Love you Mom and Dad!
Thanks! I was missing my favorite Cheetos and I had fun blowing up Peeps with my flatmates!
and guess what? It takes coming to Australia for me to start cooking! I'm just posting this because I'm so proud of my first time cooking chicken!!!

I just wanted to post this because I like the structure of this store and I love all the open window walls. But mainly just because I LOVE bookstores!

Then we took a bus to the Paddington surburb where there is a very nice open-air market.
I would really like to know the difference between regular nail and USA nails. lol. GO USA!
a little gem we found on our way back to our dorm... I love when this happens!

I am a big fan of magical creatures :)
I could not take this place seriously because it uses the Disney font.
back at UTS. This is the old brick factory across the street from campus. They randomly added pictures of people on the side and I'm curious as to why. Now it's like building art or something to that nature.
Sydney Opera House lights up!
YouTube Sympony Orchestra was in Sydney for a whole week and on the final night, they screened projections onto the Opera House. It was very beautiful, even though it was raining!
The conductor for the night is projected on the background. It was really cool how they started off the performance.
the colors and designs were really cool and matched the music well.
see here's your dose of me actually being in a picture!
here I walked to the other side of Circular Quay to see what it looked like from this angle. Still beautiful!

Sydney Wildlife World
Hey again! Sorry for the delay...lots of school work!
So these are from a trip I took to the Wildlife World in Darling Harbor. It was small but very cute and I got to see kangaroos and koalas! so yay!
So it was a pretty chill day. Now I can say I saw kangaroos and koalas in Australia. Bought some cool souvenirs so that's always good too!
