Opera House + Chocolate Pancakes = Awesome!

Hello everyone,

This post is a little overdue, but I thought I could get away with it since I posted multiple times two weeks ago :)

The week of the 14th-18th was crazy! The Residences here at UTS have had lot of events and I also had orientation! On the 14th was the Official Welcome and International Student Info Session. After the Official Welcome, I went on a campus tour where I meant a bunch of international students studying Communication. At the International Student Session, they gave us some free stuff and I was so excited about getting a free bus card! Yay!!!

I went to the cinema, and if the prices in the USA make you cringe, just don't go to the movies in Australia. I saw "True Grit" with my friends, which I found ironically amusing.

Friday the 18th, the Residences planned a trip to Luna Park (an old-fashioned amusement park), but we got distracted by playing a game of Taboo in the common room and it was too late to go. We decided to go to Pancakes on the Rocks instead.

Pancakes on the Rocks is a famous restaurant in the Rocks (hence the name) which is near Sydney Harbor Bridge.

Before reaching our destination of yummy goodness, we took a detour to Circular Quay and The Sydney Opera House!

 Hello Bridge :)

 love the angles!

look it's me in a picture!!!!!!

Finally, the PANCAKES!!! yum

open 24/7. Like IHOP but classier!

 my pancakes were Blackforest Cheery

 my flatmate had Devil's Delight

and these are Hot 'N' Troppo

So, if you didn't know, I'm kind of obsessed with taking pictures of really really good food from my travels. These were definitely picture worthy and mine tasted AWESOME!

Probably more food pictures to come!

Bye bye for now!
